Roman chamomile is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family. It more commonly called chamomile. It is mainly used in herbal tea, well known to help with falling asleep. But it is also used in cosmetics, in its form of essential oil or hydrosol.
Roman chamomile or noble chamomile hydrosol is much softer than its essential oil. Moreover, if the latter is prohibited for newborns, this is not the case with hydrosol. This one is very popular with mothers and babies because, thanks to its anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic and calming properties it will relieve dental flares and diaper rashes.
The hydrosol (or floral water) of Roman chamomile has many properties:
Chamomile hydrosol can be used:
Anthemis nobilis flower water*, benzyl alcohol, dehydroacetic acid, aqua.
