The history of the Bel-Air distillery begins in 1992 when Évelyne Crouzier began the organic cultivation of fine lavender on the hills around the hamlet Bel-Air in the Gard.

In the 2000s, many laundry cooperatives had to close due to lack of a sufficient market. Therefore, to ensure its survival, the operation acquires its own traditional distillation tool. This large capacity tool, designed for the production of essential oils, allows distillation of exceptional quality. This is how the Bel-Air Distillery was born.

Other plants are thus distilled, aromatic and medicinal plants emblematic of the Cévennes: Juniper cade, Noble laurel,...

Today, the distillery is open to the public to visit the organic farm and to share and pass on the love of their profession.
