A little culture :

Palmarosa is a large herbaceous plant (up to 3m high) which belongs to the same family as lemongrass. She is from India or Nepal.

When you crumple the leaves of the palmarosa, you smell an odor that is similar to rose and geranium. Moreover, the flowers of palmarosa resemble those of the geranium. This is why it is also called "Geranium of the Indies".

The essential oil (EO) is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves. It takes 100kg of plants to obtain between 500g and 1kg of essential oil.

Pregnant women, babies and children can ONLY use it on medical advice. Palmarosa essential oil (EO) is compatible with breastfeeding because the risk during pregnancy is to trigger contractions. Because of this, you no longer have this problem once you give birth.

For people with asthma and epilepsy, please ask your doctor for advice.

HE is allergenic, so it is best to test it before using it (1 to 2 drops in the bend of the elbow and wait 24 hours for there to be no reaction).
